A Good Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Diet Can Help You Feel Better

The best diet to follow

A good chronic fatigue syndrome diet follows the stone-age and anti-candida diet. According to the Natural Recovery Plan, by going back to the ‘basic’ original foods, you can alleviate the symptoms of inflammation in the body and gain more energy. Cort Johnson’s article in 2013 recommends going on the starter stone-age diet by following these steps:

* Eat any meat you want, also include liver into your diet. Fish is also important, so change the meat source accordingly at times.

* Eat a lot of eggs.

* Include a lot of green vegetables and salads in the diet.

* Use only cold pressed nut and seed oils, such as grapeseed oil and sunflower oil.

* Use spices freely and you can also add some herbs into the chronic fatigue syndrome diet. Mind Body Green recommends using cilantro.

Cort Johnson also suggests that you should try following the Mediterranean diet if you feel that the stone-age diet is not the right for you. They are pretty much along the same principles, but in the Mediterranean diet, you eat a little bit more fruits and carbohydrates. The stone-age diet is richer in protein and can in some cases be better for your fatigue because it has so limited amounts of grains, and grains can often cause inflammation and fatigue.

You should first try to eliminate the bad foods from your chronic fatigue syndrome diet and see if that alone helps you feel better. You can then try the stone-age / Mediterranean diet to further improve your condition.
