Herbs That Stop Bleeding And How To Use Them

Herbs can stop bleeding? Yes, absolutely.

As a student at the Dr. Christopher School of Natural Healing, we would listen to Dr. John Christopher tell us his stories about healing people with herbs. This story is one I recall over the years.

Dr. Christopher practiced in Utah around the Salt Lake City area in a time when hospitals weren’t established. Many people had to take care of their own medical needs at home. By the time someone was transported via horse and buggy or car later on, it would have been far too late in many cases. He made house calls.

How Herbs That Stop Bleeding Work: Case Study

Once he received a house call from parents whose two little boys had been playing outside with their father’s real guns. Unfortunately, one of the little boys aimed the gun at his brother and shot. The gun was loaded. The boy had two wounds – one in the front and one in the back where the bullet exited. As you could imagine, blood was spurting out.

Dr. Christopher advised the parents to give the boy a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of water. Then count to 10. They followed his instructions. After the 10 seconds of time, the blood stopped gushing. Meanwhile the family bandaged him up as best they could and got him to the hospital. There he was admitted directly into the Emergency Room. Surgery was still necessary to patch up the little boy and to make sure that there was no additional damage inside his small body.

When the doctors opened him up, they were amazed at what they found. The boy’s body had already begun the process of repair to the arteries and cleaned up the area quite well.

This story tells us quite a few things:

1. That herbs work.

2. That using herbs doesn’t mean you should neglect medical treatment when the situation is serious.

3. That it’s important to surround yourself with smart people who know what to do for medical emergencies.

How to Use Cayenne for Bleeding

To use cayenne, do exactly what Dr. Christopher suggested. The herb works in a way so that it normalizes blood pressure. It influences the heart first and then begins working on arteries and capillaries.

You can also have an extract on hand and when needed mix about 10 drops in water (instead of a teaspoon of the powder). This will help stop bleeding even though you are taking it internally, not applying it externally.
