Natural Remedies For Hair Loss That Work

Use natural hair care products. Read product labels. If you cannot pronounce the names of the ingredients, they are probably artificial and not good for your hair. I like to use unscented organic hair care products.

I add essential oils to my shampoo. For a four ounce bottle of shampoo, add between sixty to ninety drops of your favorite essential oil. The only exceptions are peppermint and roman chamomile essential oil. They are strong, so you only need about one fifth as much as other essential oils.

The following essential oils help to promote hair strength and growth. Geranium oil is excellent to prevent hair loss due to fragile hair which breaks easily. Cypress is great smelling oil which is suitable for men and women. It also reduces inflammation and dandruff. Spicy basil oil prevents hair loss and is suitable for men and women too. Peppermint and palmarosa promote hair growth.

Roman chamomile fights hair loss and relieves inflammation and itching of the scalp. Clary sage is exotic smelling oil which protects against hair loss. It is excellent for oily hair. Tea tree has antiseptic qualities and benefits the circulation. It soothes itchy, irritated scalps. Sage is one of the best oils for hair care. It prevents hair loss, dandruff and irritation of the scalp. It is good for people with oily hair. Ylang ylang is floral oil with a sweet aroma. It promotes hair growth and keeps excess oil in check.

Healthy Hair Care Practices

Avoiding the use of hair dryer, curling wands and straightening devices is essential. Avoid hair products which contain alcohol as they are drying to your hair. Limit the use of heavy gels and other hair care products. Protect your hair from damage due to the sun and weather. Do not wash your hair every day or hair breakage and loss will increase. Pat your hair dry to prevent breakage rather than rubbing it dry.

There are many natural remedies for hair loss which you can use at home. Focus on treating hair loss from the inside and the outside of your body. Manage stress as it can increase the loss of hair. Be sure to exercise and get plenty of rest. Before long, you may begin to see that you have more healthy hair than you have been experiencing lately.
