Try Using Garlic For Acne Treatment, Both Internally And Topically

Consuming garlic internally

You can get help for your acne by consuming fresh garlic regularly. This can help the inflammation and kill off the bacteria by getting into your blood stream. There are many garlic supplements also available, but for the best effect, you really should use fresh garlic.

If you don’t like to eat fresh garlic on its own, you can easily sprinkle sliced garlic onto your pasta, salads and dips, for example. You can try to drink it with milk to reduce the possible burning sensation.

For the best results, you should try eating at least two garlic cloves per day. If you are having problems with the taste or smell, chew some fresh parsley or mint right after consuming fresh garlic to control the taste.

Garlic for topical acne treatment

You can also use garlic for acne treatment externally by applying it directly on the affected area. You can do this by making a paste of garlic and rubbing it onto cleaned skin.

Crush some fresh garlic and add around 2 tablespoons of water to the crushed garlic. Mix this paste and apply on the affected area. Massage gently and let it stay for a few minutes before washing it away with warm water. Repeat this procedure every day until the skin is healed.

Another way to use garlic for acne treatment topically is to squeeze the juice out of the garlic and mix it together with vinegar. Soaking a cotton bud in this juice, you can then apply it directly on top of the raised acne pumps on the skin. Again, let it stay on for a few minutes before washing your skin.
