Best Essential Oils To Give You Amazingly Healthy Hair
|
Conditioning Hair Mask
Your hair is exposed to damage every day – styling tools, pollution, and poor nutrition take their toll, leaving limp, crusty straws where luscious locks once lived. Revitalizing your hair is quite simple and rather enjoyable when used during a nice long bubble bath.
Mix the following organic oils and therapeutic grade essential oils in a large jar or container:
* Coconut oil – 8oz
* Olive oil – 4oz
* Geranium – 12 drops
* Roman Chamomile – 10 drops
* Rosewood – 8 drops
Apply a generous amount to hair, massaging the oils into the scalp and all the way to the ends. Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap and leave in for 20 minutes. Rinse well.
Strengthening Rinse
Everyone’s mane can use a little boost every once in a while. Using an after-shampoo rinse on fine hair rather than a heavy conditioner can be the perfect remedy for boosting volume naturally. This formula promotes body and adds shine without weighing hair down.
Mix the following therapeutic grade essential oils in a small mist bottle and apply to wet hair:
* Apple Cider Vinegar – 4oz
* Nettle tea – 2oz (steep 1 tsp herbs in water for 10 minutes then strain)
* Clary sage – 7 drops
* Lavender – 10 drops
* Sandalwood – 5 drops
Mist into wet hair after shampooing and either rinse out or leave in all day if you like. This rinse will make your hair smooth, strong and manageable with consistent use.
If your hair has been put through years of abuse through coloring and heat styling and left stripped after exposure to daily harsh chemicals, it’s time to stop over-treating it and start nourishing and supporting it. Just a few natural ingredients can effortlessly transform your hair, making you feel younger, sexy and more confident.
When you use the healing power of nature to cleanse, nourish and rejuvenate your hair, the benefits will shine from the inside out. Taking the time to really care for yourself is rewarding not only for your hair, but for your whole body, mind and soul.
