Simple Home Remedies For Warts

Topical Remedies
Rather than letting the doctor freeze, slice or otherwise mutilate your skin, try a natural healing approach to those nasty warts. Very often it just takes a little persistence to kill off this sneaky virus and keep it from coming back, so don’t be a slacker when it comes to topical treatment. Slow and steady wins the race.
* Tape occlusion – apply a strip of duct tape over the wart for up to 2 months (change occasionally)
* Aloe Vera gel – contains both anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties and heals tissue naturally; apply several times daily for best results
* Garlic compress – crush a garlic clove and apply directly to the wart; cover with a bandage and leave for 24 hours; repeat weekly
* Castor oil paste – combine castor oil and baking soda to make a thick paste; apply to wart nightly for three to six weeks
Perhaps the most difficult thing to realize about dealing with warts is that no one else is noticing them. Yup, that big, crazy blob on your finger is not what other people notice about you, so relax. Don’t feel so self conscious, and take the stress level down a notch. After all, it’s just a common virus that is really no big deal, and they’ll stick around about as long as it takes you to learn that. Clever little things aren’t they?
