The Best Ways To Get Rid Of Scabies Naturally

Fight from Within

The immune system requires proper nutritional support, and if your body is fighting a parasite like scabies, you’ll want all the support you can get. If it is cared for properly, the immune system has an amazing capacity for finding and eliminating foreign organisms, while helping tissues heal.

* Zinc – 50 mg daily; powerful immune boosting and healing properties
* Garlic – 500 mg daily during infection to fight infection
* Coenzyme Q10 – 100 mg daily to enhance immune function
* Vitamin A – 10000 IU daily to support immunity and heal tissue
* Vitamin C – 1000 mg daily for clearing infection and healing tissue
* Reishi or Shitake mushroom extract – use as directed to boost immunity
* Astragalus or Goldenseal – use a capsule form as directed to cleanse body and strengthen immune system

A Pure Environment

Mites can live in furniture, carpets, and clothing for several days. This can become a cause of constant re-infection. Thus, it is important to thoroughly clean the house to eradicate the pests. This can be accomplished by using ingredients that kill mites on all surfaces of your house to combat the initial outbreak, and then once weekly thereafter until your home is critter free.

Disinfecting Spray

* Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 5 parts water in a spray bottle
* add 2 tablespoons Borax powder
* spray on hard surfaces or lightly mist furniture; wipe clean

Disinfecting Carpet Cleaner

* sprinkle Borax powder over all surfaces – carpets, floors and furniture
* leave on for 24 hours
* vacuum or wash all surfaces

When using Borax to clean your home, be sure to remove pets and children from areas during treatment. Even though Borax is generally non-toxic, you will want to avoid inhaling it or letting it contact skin, as it can be very irritating.

The good news is that scabies is a human condition and it cannot be contracted or spread by pets or other animals, but cleaning your house in this way is also a great way to kill fleas and other small parasites, so I recommend this cleaning protocol to all pet owners as well.

If you are pro-active at the first outbreak and continue treatments weekly, you can get rid of scabies, heal inflamed tissue and prevent further outbreaks. Even though it can be an icky thought, you’ll be excited to see those little critters literally crawl away by using these natural remedies.
