Fungal Sinus Infection – Out-Of-The-Box Thinking

What Fungi Do to the Immune System

Because a fungal sinus infection usually indicates the person has immune system suppression, it’s more difficult to treat and medical intervention is usually necessary. Once a fungi reproduces rampantly in the body, the person’s immune system weakens even further. This is because fungi have specific mechanisms whereby they mimic the immune system to gain entry and control.

In practice, I’ve seen patients that were in the very best health of their life taken down to the status of disabled in a matter of months once they developed a fungal sinus infection. Fungal infections are nothing to mess around with.

Natural Remedies for Fungal Sinus Infections

Thus, as far as natural remedies go, you’ll need a very strong antifungal herb to reverse the situation. Here are some herbs that could help:

* Graviola – The bark of this plant has antifungal properties as well as antibacterial properties, too. About 2 grams three times a day in capsules is the normal dosage.

* Vassourinha – This antifungal herb is categorized in the foxglove family. It has also been shown to kill leukemia cells, inhibit tumors, and heal wounds. Dosage is 2-3 grams taken twice daily.

* Embauba – It’s the leaf and stem parts of this plant that make this herb a good choice for treating fungal sinus infections. It’s also effective against E.coli, Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus, Salmonella, and Shigella. The normal dosage is 2-3 grams twice daily.

If you have a fungal sinus infection, don’t let it drag out for several months. Do everything you can to help the doctors eliminate the infection.
