Healthy Kidney Diet Guidelines

6. Animal proteins.

Don’t shy away from animal proteins. Animal meats are packed with nutrients and much more nutrient dense than foods on a vegetarian diet. Your kidneys and liver do better with their detoxifying functions when they have a higher protein level than if the protein level is lower.

7. Organic fruits, pesticide-free.

Eat berries and other fruits but don’t overdo them. Two to four servings a day are plenty.

8. Organic vegetables, pesticide-free

Eat three more servings of vegetables than what you want to eat daily.

9. Undereat rather than overeat.

Undereating is easier on all your body organs and is linked with life extension.

Does this healthy kidney diet seem like something you could do? You may already be following several of the guidelines. Take one new guideline to initiate each month and by next year at this time, you would have made great leaps of progress in your health.
