Additional Home Remedies for Ear Infections

Here are some additional home remedies you can try:

1. Combination of goldenseal, mullein, and St John’s Wort

2. Combination of goldenseal and Echinacea

3. Equal parts of cleavers and Echinacea tinctures (1 teaspoon three times daily)

4. Equal parts of ginkgo biloba and black cohosh tinctures (1 teaspoon three times daily)

5. Tea tree oil drops mixed with diluted grapefruit seed extract drops

Chiropractic Treatment

Of course, you’ll also want to make sure you get a chiropractic adjustment whenever you have an ear infection. In one study of 46 children younger than 5 years old who had an ear infection, the subjects were adjusted in the cervical spine and head three times for the first week, given 2 treatments for the next week, and then given one final treatment. If the child was better before the end of treatment, the treatment was stopped.

The results were pretty remarkable. Of all the 46 students, 93% of them improved; 75% were better in 10 days. After only two or less treatments, 43% of them had improved.

Herbs

There are also herbs from the Amazon rainforest that have pretty powerful antimicrobial actions. Since they’re brand new to you, you’ll have to look them up individually, but here’s a short list of some of them that I’ve used over time with patients to clear up ear infections as well as other infections:

* Cat’s claw (increases white blood cell number and activity 33% in 2 hours)

* Anamu (acts as a broad-spectrum antibiotic, pain reducer, kills leukemia cells, kills viruses and candida, lowers blood sugar, expels worms)

* Fedegoso (antifungal, antibacterial, anti-parasitical, antiviral, blood cleanser, pain reliever, inflammation buster, kills cancer cells)

* Clavilla (antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, kills parasites, laxative in nature, helps aid digestion)

* Epazote (bactericidal, kills parasites and expels worms, kills amoebas, calms nerves, sedative, heals wounds, kills cancer cells)
