How To Colon Cleanse Safely And Easily – A Practitioner Shares


Colon Cleansing Treatments

Water Enema

A cleansing enema can be used to flush the colon up to once per week to dispel waste matter and restore proper pH balance.

1. To make the solution, add the juice of 3 lemons to 2 quarts of lukewarm distilled water and place in an enema bag.

2. Lubricate the tip of the bag with vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel.

3. Lie face down and insert water into rectum, then roll onto your back, then onto your left side.

4. Massage your colon to help release particulate, starting on the lower right side of the abdomen and working up towards the ribs and across to the left of the body and then down to the lower left side of the abdomen.

5. Hold the solution for 3 to 4 minutes before releasing.


Salt Water Flush

The magnesium in Epsom salt stimulates your cells to release toxins and flush water into the colon for elimination, while stimulating the bowels to release waste matter.

1. Mix 1 1/2 teaspoon Epsom salt in 8 oz room temperature water.

2. Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice to the water; stir until dissolved.

3. Drink the mixture all at once, and then wait for a bowel movement to occur sometime between 30 minutes and 6 hours after taking the Epsom salt.

If this does not work the first time, repeat, only after waiting at least 6 hours, and do not do more than 2 times in 24 hours. You may feel nauseous or develop a headache while your body is releasing toxins.


Supplements

Give your colon a little help to do its job, especially while you’re cleansing, and as needed between cleansing to maintain regular bowel movements.

* Fiber from ground flaxseeds, or psyllium husk – take as directed, but separately from other supplements or medications

* Acidophilus – take as directed to restore the beneficial bacteria in your colon

* Vitamin C – 1000mg 2x per day to help eliminate toxins and protect and repair cells

* Aloe Vera Juice – 1/2 cup 3x per day


Be sure to consult with your health care practitioner before beginning any new treatment, especially if you suffer from IBS or kidney disorders. Remember to be gentle with your body and not be aggressive or excessive in controlling bowel movements. You want your body to be able to expel toxins and waste naturally, and a little help can go a long way.

Even though it takes some commitment to properly cleanse your colon, you will feel the health benefits immediately. Remember this feeling when you have a craving for junk food, so you can make a better choice for yourself. When your colon is functioning properly, you will feel less bloated, more energized, have radiant skin, and a spring in your step that other people will definitely notice.
