Natural Cures For Lyme Disease To Give You Relief

Heal Externally

The physical effects of Lyme disease can be completely draining, and the emotional toll just as severe. Supporting your body and mind with some soul soothing remedies can help the healing process tremendously. Giving yourself a little extra care is sometimes all that is necessary to cure something completely.

* Hot Baths – soak for twenty minutes twice daily to relieve joint pain,

* Essential Oils – mix 2 drops each Geranium, Roman Chamomile, Rosewood and Palmarosa in a handful of massage cream and rub on achy joints and irritated skin

* Deep Breathing – inhale through the nose for a count of four and exhale completely; repeat up to one minute to promote healing response

* Epsom Salts – add 1/2 cup to hot baths to soothe skin and detoxify body

A Pound of Cure

Certainly the best advice I can give you is to not expose yourself to the ticks that carry Lyme disease. They are small and black, and pretty creepy, so they may be hard to see. Don’t let them spoil a fun adventure in the woods, however – there are things you can do to minimize your exposure. Just an “ounce of prevention” can keep these little critters from passing along a serious infection.

* Protect yourself with long sleeves, pants and hats when going hiking in the woods and stay clear of dense trees

* Change your clothes and shower after being in a wooded area

* Dry your clothes in a hot dryer for 30 minutes to kill ticks before washing

* Inspect your pets, and groom or bathe well before coming indoors

Before you venture outdoors, plan to bring proper clothing and know if Lyme disease is common in your area. The most cases occur in summer and fall, so remember to be extra cautious during these times. If the chance of exposure is extreme, you may want to use a commercial repellent, but use with caution.

With just a few natural approaches, you may be able to cure Lyme disease naturally, but if your symptoms do not respond well, consult a doctor and consider adding a prescription to your treatment plan. Sometimes, blending traditional and alternative therapies truly is the best medicine.
