Why Your Medical Doctor Doesn’t Recommend Natural Remedies For Diabetes

Gymnema sylvestris is a blood-sugar lowering herb appropriate for those who have sugar cravings and tend to binge.

By taking herbs regularly for a specified amount of time, you can affect your own physiology in positive ways. However, the decision about what natural remedies for diabetes to be used should be made by a trained professional, not someone who has very limited knowledge. It takes years of practice to determine what to do for certain situations, and to develop the wisdom and understanding that only professionals develop.

You’ll Need Nutritional Supplements and a Diet Change, Too

A clinical nutritionist who understands nutrition and all its interactions with medications is essential for diabetics. When you’re looking for natural remedies for diabetes, you’ll be glad to know that harmless vitamins and minerals can make a big difference in preventing and reversing the complications of the disease.

However, a clinical nutritionist can’t guess at your vitamin and mineral status. Who could possibly be correct on guessing the status of each of these vitamins and minerals: vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, biotin, PABA, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, boron, zinc, copper, selenium, manganese, iodine, lithium, germanium, chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and sulfur? It’s impossible. Yet a simple blood test along with a hair analysis can provide great insight into your nutritional status.

Another reason why you can’t find nutritional natural remedies for diabetes is because once you know you are deficient, there’s a whole other body of wisdom you must find out to determine what dosage is enough to help someone bring their levels of nutrients back to normal in the safest way. This is where you really need a clinical nutritionist that can help you both identify your vitamin and mineral deficiencies as well as do something about them.

For over 20 years, I’ve used nutritional supplements, diet, and herbs to help individuals make progress reversing diabetes. The natural remedies for diabetes work in many cases, but not all – but you’ll never know whether or not they’ll work for you until you get started.
