How To Cure Diabetes Naturally – An Expert’s Treatment Protocol

Exercise Guidelines for Diabetics

Your plan of how to cure diabetes naturally also involves exercise. Here are some guidelines for you on this area:

1. Start by taking walks. This can be outside on sidewalks near your home or in a mall. Aim for a 15-20 minute walk, and then slowly increase to 30-minute walks or two 15-minute walks daily.

2. Choose a health club close to your home that has activities and equipment related to your likes. For example, if you like to swim, choose a club with a pool. If you don’t like to lift weights, choose one with weights anyway, as working out with weights is really one of the only sure ways to change your body composition. Choose a health club with an infrared sauna if at all possible. The infrared saunas assist the body with detoxification and complete the process in only 15 to 20 minutes. Of course, it’s a series of these saunas that assists with deep cleansing and removal of toxins from the body.

3. After you’ve been walking for a few weeks, consider adding a more strenuous type of exercise, such as bike riding. You can ride comfortable bikes at the gym that have complete displays of mileage pedaled and calories burned. Some even allow you to watch television as you pedal. Others are programmed with specific programs to use for interval training. These are the ones you want. Interval training burns more fat and calories and shapes your body much faster than simply pedaling to meet a time goal. Aim for only three interval training sessions each week, with each session 20 minutes long.

4. After a few weeks walking and biking, begin weight training. I always recommend the tried and true Body-for-Life Program by Bill Phillips. You can get the book on Amazon or at your local library. This program prevents you from working out too hard and not working out enough. It’s been proven successful for hundreds of thousands of people over the last 20 years.

Nutritional Supplement Guidelines for Diabetes

Your plan of how to cure diabetes naturally should also include nutritional supplements. Here are some guidelines for you on supplements:

1. Obtain a vitamin D test to see where your level of this important vitamin is. Most diabetics have exceptionally low levels so expect that you will have to take supplements for three months to replenish it.

2. Chromium is another important supplement for diabetics, but only for those who are low in it. Nutrients can’t make you into a superman or superwoman if your levels of them are higher than normal. On the contrary, levels that are too high will begin to interfere with the absorption of other vitamins and minerals.

3. Work with a clinical nutritionist who is well versed in testing nutrient levels and in supplementation. Supplementation science has evolved past the point where all you need is a multivitamin/mineral. You’ll need important additional mineral supplements such as magnesium, calcium, vitamin B complex, selenium, zinc, and more if you’re like most diabetics. Expect that you’ll be on them for the rest of your life, although the amounts will vary. After your levels are in the adequate range, you can back off taking some of them. However, you’ll always take a multiple, omega-3, vitamin C, vitamin E and coenzyme Q10. Your clinical nutritionist should be able to get results quickly in your immune system, blood sugar regulation, and how well you feel if everything is done correctly.

4. Magnesium must always be in the recommended range for diabetics. Magnesium deficiency is associated with lowered calcium absorption, hearing loss, inflammation, constipation and a lot of other undesirable symptoms.

5. I always recommend a certain brand of cactus jelly to assist in lowering blood glucose levels. (arizonacactusranch.com)
