Juicing For Diabetics Is Different

These foods are loaded with helpful antioxidants and phytonutrients that fill in the gaps of your metabolism. In fact, your diet was meant to be loaded with phytonutrients; a processed food diet is devoid of all of them. It’s no wonder why people start to get sick!

Keep your fruit consumption limited to one serving any time you eat. This includes the juices that you drink. Although fruits are a great source of antioxidants, it’s the carbohydrate content that limits how much of them you can eat, diabetic or not.

A few decades ago, diabetes wasn’t seen in people under the age of 40 very often. Then it started appearing in those in their 30s, and then those in their 20s. Now you’ll see diabetes diagnosed often in children in their teen years or even younger than that. Thus, everyone needs to protect their pancreas – and the way to do it is to watch those carbohydrates in juices and in other foods.

The complications of diabetes are not pretty. Losing one’s eyesight, not being able to feel where one’s legs are and walking as if the legs were pegs, and kidney dialysis are not pleasant, and leave younger generations with memories you may not ever choose. Watch your carbs, and juice right – you have the potential to reverse Type 2 diabetes more than you think!
