How To Make Delicious Low Glycemic Recipes Your Whole Family Will Love

Here’s an example. Your husband came home with steaks for dinner. Using the knowledge of what goes well with steaks, you’ll remind yourself that simplicity is a big key. By adding onion, salt and pepper to the steak as it’s cooking, you’re well within the low GI diet rules. But how many onions can you eat for one meal? Most people love variety.

You could add a tossed salad. Choose ingredients from the list of salad vegetables; for example, use spinach, lettuce, or cabbage as your base salad ingredient and then add a few others from the list. Toss in a handful of nuts for texture differences and call the salad done.

Next add a low GI vegetable to your meal. If it’s a cold, wintry day, start with some black beans or pinto beans to make you feel a little warmer. Add some spices and onions with celery to the beans to enhance the flavor. Dill or lemon grass makes the dish a little more exotic. Steamed broccoli, green or wax beans, carrots, and bell peppers or mixtures of these complement the meal and aren’t pushing the limit of the Glycemic load.

Then add a fruit-based dessert. Again, simplicity is the key, so start with a fruit such as apples, and dress them up with a sprinkle of coconut cream concentrate, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg.

Follow this process for all your low Glycemic index recipes and you’ll be the best cook in the neighborhood in no time at all. More important than that, you’ll also find that you and your family members are feeling better, looking better, acting better, and leaving behind all types of negative low blood sugar symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, mood swings, aggressiveness, fatigue, cravings, weight gain, lack of concentration, and more!
