Juice Cleanse – Often The First Step In Transforming One’s Health

4. On a detox or weight loss juice cleanse, you won’t eat any food during the cleanse. However, drinking water is very important, as it will flush out toxins from the cells. The juices themselves start the process of cleansing the toxins, but water makes it easier for them to be removed.

5. You can use water to dilute your juices but most people find that drinking water in between the times you are drinking the juice works better. This way, they don’t feel as deprived in between the juices.

6. Drink one glass (8 oz.) during your normal breakfast time, another for lunch, and another for dinner. Your last 8 ounces of juice on your juice cleanse may be consumed either as a snack during the daytime or as an after dinner snack. This way, your body won’t rebel as much, as it recognizes you are still feeding it on its regular schedule.


Why Side Effects Occur During Juice Fasts

Side effects can include fatigue, headache, or body aches and pains, but 80% of the time, these can be avoided by discontinuing caffeine prior to the cleanse. This doesn’t mean going from drinking four cups a day to zero cups on the day of your juice cleanse. Doing this will be a sure way to create caffeine withdrawal symptoms that are miserable to deal with during a cleanse.

The other reason why side effects are felt is because there isn’t an open route for the toxins to come out of the body. If you’re constipated, the toxins that your liver is dumping from the juices will then be unable to come out of the body. Your body will try to adapt and force some of it out through the kidneys but the backup will end up causing skin breakouts, headaches, and aches and pains.

All these are avoidable. If you’re constipated, begin drinking a shotglass full of George’s Aloe vera with every meal. It will help eliminate your constipation.
