This Is The Best Colon Cleanse For You

Some Colon Cleanses Have Senna in Them

If you get a colon cleanse that contains senna, you can expect to have explosive bowel movements. Senna acts as a laxative.

If you get a colon cleanse that has psyllium in it, don’t expect the psyllium to do wonders with your colon. All psyllium is, is a type of fiber and it does nothing to restore or rejuvenate the colon. Also, if you are sensitive to wheat, psyllium can cross react with wheat and thus be responsible for causing a reaction towards the psyllium. Allergy reactions and food intolerances can have symptoms such as constipation and diarrhea. (Aren’t these two things you want to avoid at all costs?)

Fennel and ginger are excellent herbs to be included in any colon cleanse formula. These herbs relieve spasticity and contractions and make the passage of stool easier and without pain. Fennel also is important for decreasing the amount of gas that you may have.

Gas in the Intestinal Tract is Your Enemy

When gas is in the intestinal tract, it can act as a stopcork to prevent the passage of food throughout the intestines. Many people don’t give this much thought and go on to consume plenty of carbonated beverages which contribute to the formation of gas in the intestines. Whether it’s food stopping your colon or gas stopping your colon, or even a nest of parasites stopping your colon motility, you simply don’t want it. You want free flowing bowel movements each and every day.

Best Colon Cleanse Recommendation

So what’s the best colon cleanse? Most of the time I’ll recommend the Dr. Christopher Lower Bowel Formula, because it works 95% of the time. There are only a few people that have a sensitivity to the ingredients and shouldn’t be using it. The ingredients are barberry bark, cascara sagrada, cayenne, ginger, lobelia, red raspberry leaves, turkey rhubarb, fennel, and golden seal root.

Your best colon cleanse is the one that does the most good for your body.
